2022 Paltrinieri 'Radice' Lambrusco di Sorbara - Emilia-Romagna, Italy
Impressions: This is unlike any Lambrusco you've encountered and its brought to you by Sorbara's benchmark producer. Enticing notes of pomegranates, pomelos, tangerines, rose petals and wet stones. A brisk acidity introduces sharp, compact bubbles that slowly descend towards a bone dry, fruity and refreshing finish.
2019 Domaine des Forges, Savennières Roche aux Moines - Loire Valley, France
Impressions: We love Chenin Blanc for its versatility and endless food pairing potential. This full-bodied example offers yellow apples, bosc pear, almonds and white flowers on the nose. The palate is dense, yet easily lifted by its thriving acidity that cuts through a rich, slighly creamy texture. The finish is dry and nutty with slightly honeyed impressions.
